Lo sviluppatore Alstroph ha pubblicato Decimen Optical Transfer, un proof of concept che permette di trasferire file direttamente tra due smartphone usando QR code. Il sistema non richiede rete, app dedicate né pairing e sfrutta una trasmissione ottica fino a 60 FPS.
